Mid-Year Holidays

We are now halfway through our school year and have published 4 episodes of Wave TV. Our next episode is all filmed and going through the editing process. It should be published onto the school website by the end of Week One Term 3.

Episode 6 is partially filmed and also going through the editing process. I apologise to Callum for not printing out the episode 6 anchor's script last Friday. Callum and Harrison, if you are keen to practise you can find the script on the wiki. We will workshop this script in Week One of Term 3 to make sure it fits with the stories. We won't be able to use greenscreening in this episode because the white lappy that we are editing on only can cope with imovie 08.

We are committed to making 10 episodes this year to accommodate all the year 8 people who were interested in being anchors. We are well on track with Episodes 7, 8 and 9 due to come out in Term 3 as well.

As the Wave TV Crew know, Wave TV will look a little different in Term 3. I will be at school all of Week One getting everything from Term 2 as completed as possible and prepping for our longer sessions. I will send for you as needed using What's on Top or student runners. Or watch the blog. We will have three two week sessions of Wave TV with small crews each producing one episode. Group One will make their show in Weeks 2 & 3 (5-16 August), Group Two in Weeks 5 & 6 (26 August- 6 September), and Group Three will be in Weeks 8 & 9 (16-27 September).

Some of our lovely WTV students are away in various interesting and exciting parts of the world right now. I wonder if they will remember to post here to let us know what they're up to? I hope so!

Have a wonderful restful break everyone. I will see you on Monday in Week One Term1! Ka kite ano, Caroline.

    Hi WTVers
We're in Sweden now and having so much fun! We are missing WTV a lot but a least we can watch it.
It has been quite hot here so we have been swimming in the lakes.
In the evenings we have been playing with the neighbours kitten we call curious George. She loves climbing trees and chasing after everything!

Can't wait to see the next episode of wave TV

    1. Lovely to hear from you two :) I had been wondering how you were. It must be nice having another summer! We were planning to put out episode 5 on Friday and perhaps episode 6 in week 2. Some of the anchors are still on holiday so we haven't filmed their episode 6 slot yet. Good to know that you are having a wonderful time in Sweden. See you in a few weeks!
