Week six blog

Hi Everyone. We are at the point of Episode 4 where the computer is at a bottle neck with everyone editing their stories and other people uploading Episode 5 footage and photos. We plan sometime in the future to have 2 or 3 computers on the go, and have one imovie project for each episode. Unless someone can suggest a clever alternative?

In other Wave TV news Louis and Adam did a great job of practising with the green screen to try to get their lighting right so they didn't turn see through. Well done!

These are the things we need to do this Friday. I love seeing Jake and Chenthi taking over the blog organisation here. Thanks Abby and Yasmine for your organising as well. Thanks, Caroline.

  • Emily and Weston Fairy Day- edit photos & music
  • Emma and Georgie -Tech story- edit
  • Ryan and Isaac- Westpac story- photos from Mr Pesefea- edit - music
  • Yasmine and Nick- SPCA edit - photos - music
Episode 5
  • Workshop script with reporters and Lachlan and Dylan first thing.
  • Chenthi and Georgia script Camp intro at 9:30
  • Abby and Jake- New Teachers- film 9:30
  • Lyndsay and Melman x country film 2:00
  • Are your crews all organised?

      Yes Chenthi uploaded photos for several stories. There are loads of SPCA photos in iphoto for you to use.

    hello everyone! I am looking forward to pulling together the fairy story this Friday. Weston and I have almost completed it! (sort of) And it's a good thing I remembered to check this week's program! :D (Phew, no grump needed for me)

    Photos-Year 7&8 Technology, fairy day and SPCA trip!
    I think 2:00 is a good time to shoot the x contry-I also think that we should interview the 1st place getters aswell-any ideas for the time so I can put it on WOT?

    Choose a time that suits you Melissa when there will be few obvious clashes with second languages, kapa haka and writer's group. Have you got your crew and location organised?

    I believe that the field may be an appropriate setting, if not, then perhaps the greenscreen will be fine for the reporting only.
    We are all sorted for the main reporting-it is just the interviewing:perhaps Kai could film and direct this?

    should I email Mrs Gorman to see if the library is free at around 10 for interviewing-please answer ASAP because then I can email Miss Milne to put the people we want on WOT!

    The teachers of the ones Lyndsay and I are going to interview may like their kids to do work-I think that we might interview next week and be a bit more organised (put something on WOT) because I know that the year 7 and 8 teachers especially are keen for their students to finish work.
