Week 3 Term 2 Friday Meeting

Hi Everyone,
I was really impressed with the way you smoothly organised yourselves last Friday. We achieved a lot because of that. Well done!
  • This Friday we need to fully complete Episode 3. We are so close! 
Episode 4 Filming Friday
Reporters need to choose locations to suit your stories. Think about wind sound, people sound and light/ shadows. Let me know where you will film in a comment below.
  • Louis and Adam- Practise, practise and practise your lines so they are smoooooth and natural :)
Friday's To Do List
  • View Episode 3 & critique.
  • Organise what we need to do to finish it.
  • Practice Episode 4 with Anchors and Reporters.
  • Plan the day's editing and filming.
  • Chenthi & Kai- you have your own morning plan?
  • Get scripts, locations and reporters ready for filming.
  • Film anchors and stories- times are on most scripts.
  • Download footage straight into the computer. Delete from the camera. Put the camera on charge.
We need to delete lots of old footage off the cameras. Are there any volunteers for this? Write in a comment if you are keen, otherwise I will select some deleters.

    Chantelle and I have to practise assembly on friday morning after the roll so we won't be able to make it on Friday morning so we will see you at assembly or maybe before if we have time
    P.S assembly starts at 11:45!!!

      Are there parts of the assembly that need filming? Perhaps we need to organise a crew for that. Could you ask your teacher and let me know? Thanks.

      I will ask Mrs Basset tomorrow. There is a welcome performance for the new teachers, so you might want to film that. Anyway, I might be ale to make it since I don't have to do anything in assembly...

      By the way, someone posted a comment on the blog, someone who likes our tips! Its' good to know that other people are looking at the blog too. But the commenter said that our page is loading s...l...o...w...l...y but we can't help that.

      Hi Caroline, we can film the Maori welcoming for the new teachers, which is the first thing for assembly. That is it.

    I've got a great story idea which is that it was mrs lock 20th anniversary at the school and also my dad might be starting a swedish floor hockey team soon.

    SPCA is the one with the dog and Rippa Rugby is the one with all those little people in the blue tops, sun hats and yellow flags down the side.

    P.S. Mrs Leggett (the awsome teacher) gave me the nick name 'Emma, Emma, Emma' when i was in her netball team and class because my little sister Ava would always shout that out!!!!!!

      Yes, you will be editing. We did a great job of filming and uploading so I think everything that is on the cameras can come off. You'll probably just need to check some episode 4 stories. It will be great to have the cards clean again. Thanks so much for offering Emily, you and Chantelle can do this on Friday. See you then!
